How to draw a circle in GIMP

If you’ve ever seen a discussion comparing GIMP with photoshop, invariably someone will mention how it is impossible to draw a simple circle in GIMP. Which is inevitably followed by someone showing some crazy workflow that eventually gets the job done. But actually there is an easy way to draw a circle in GIMP, and it’s been there since the earliest versions of GIMP. I’m getting tired of explaining it each time, so that is why I am writing this blog post, so that I can just share the link from now on.
